CLOG will be part of OfficeUS team, representing the United States at the 2014 Venice Architecture Biennale

CLOG will take part in the 14th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice, as part of OfficeUS at the United States Pavilion.

The U.S. Department of State has selected Storefront for Art and Architecture, in association with PRAXIS Journal, to organize the exhibition of the US Pavilion. Entitled “OfficeUS: Criticism by Re-making,” the project is curated by Eva Franch i Gilabert, Ana Miljački and Ashley Schafer.

From June 7 through November 23, 2014, the U.S. Pavilion will transform into an active, experimental architectural office that researches, studies, and remakes 1,000 projects designed by American architecture firms and exported abroad.

The installation contains two interrelated components:

1.) The Repository: an exhibition archive of 1,000 projects of U.S. architecture from the last 100 years abroad;

2.) The Office: a laboratory of diverse individuals with the mission to critically remake and reinterpret the material in the Repository. The temporary office is called OfficeUS, and provides a space in which to examine the past and future ways in which every architecture office, big and small, corporate and "avant-garde," contributes globally to the field.

The OfficeUS team includes CLOG, Architizer, Michael Kubo, Chris Leong-Dominic Leong/Leong Leong, Natasha Jen/Pentagram, PRAXIS, Jacob Reidel/Ennead Architects, Carlos Minguez Carrasco/Storefront for Art and Architecture.

A press conference with the curators and the OfficeUS team will take place on September 27, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Storefront for Art and Architecture in New York.
